On Support for Low Vision persons to move autonomously using Tablet Terminals and Image Processing

Abstract

This study presents support system for low vision persons to move autonomously. The support system which the authors developed can let low vision persons know information of pictogram around them by voice and expanded picture, by using tablet with camera and an object-recognition-server through the Internet.
