Abstract

Humans tend to prefer a little steady profits than a large risky profits. However, they also tend to take a risk to avoid a loss. Therefore, it is considered that properties of agents that support users must be different according to users’ situations that they are obtaining profits and suffering losses. In this study, we design two types of agents, an unstable agent that brings both of the best and the worst results, and a stable agent that always brings moderate results, and investigate their trustworthiness in situations that the users are obtaining profits and suffering losses. Experimental results show that the stable agent is more trustworthy in the situation of obtaining profits.
