Diagnosis of the cherry blossoms in the middle part of Tottori Prefecture and the tree management

Abstract

Growth of the Someiyoshino cherry trees has peaked from 40 to 60 years after planting and the trees tend to decline rapidly later and curing such as fertilization at this peak has a remarkable delayed effect of decline of the trees. It is the most important task to grasp the health condition of the trees. We have collected the data of cherry trees for their arboriculture in the middle part of Tottori Prefecture and investigated their tree management by using the spherical SOM.
