An Improvement of the DIS-Apriroi Algorithm for Rule Generation from Table Data Sets

Abstract

We implemented some software tools which generate rules from table data sets. The one is DIS-Apriori in SQL for deterministic information tables and the other is NIS-Apriori in SQL for non- deterministic information tables. Even though the Apriori algorithm was proposed for handling the trans- action data set form, two software tools were adjusted to handle the tabular data set form. Recently, we examined the di􏰉erence between two forms, and proved some properties in rule generation. This paper describes an overview of the properties and the improvement of DIS-Apriori in SQL.
