In ES (Epistemic Situation Calculus) proposed by Lakemeyer and Levesque, by assuming a situation as a possible world, it is possible to interpret an action as a kind of modality. According to this approach, the change of the agent’s knowledge base is regarded as an equivalence relation to the situation. In this paper, we focus on the equivalence relation of actions and try to apply granular reasoning to the situation. The zooming inference proposed by Murai is also regarded as an action, and then we incorporate abstraction and refinement by granularization to ES. We also provide semantic interpretation based on four-valued logic to zooming inference.
