Impact of data structure，to the similarity analysis (DIM mode) in spherical SOM

Abstract

A front and back simultaneous display of the spherical SOM (Self-Organizing-Maps) was newly developed. This makes it possible to display very clearly that the phase indication on the back side of the spherical surface was unknown up to now. Then, the phase relation becomes now clearer. Also, the Dimensional Interaction (similarity) Method (DIM) mode was added to the analysis.
