Abstract

This research is applied the fuzzy VRIO analysis to Nintendo, and four items are examined: value, rarity, difficulty in imitation, and organization. This result can be obtained using multiple fuzzy inference. The min-max gravity method is generally used as a method for defuzzification the results of such fuzzy VRIO analysis. Therefore, the implications of Nintendo's competitive advantage are clarified from the non-fuzzy output values. It also clarifies the issues that need attention in the four items.
