Abstract

In this study, we constructed brain functional connectivity network (BFCN) in Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease with the appearance of periodic synchronous discharge (PSD). 16ch scalp-recorded electroencephalograms (EEGs) were recorded in the resting state. The BFCN before the PSD appeared and that with PSD were compared. The connectivity between each pair of nodes (electrodes) were represented by synchronization likelihood (SL). The community structure of BFCN with the appearance of PSD was detected by modularity.
