Abstract

This research aims to develop an AI-adaptive language and culture learning system to support Chinese learners of Japanese and Japanese learners interested in Chinese culture in understanding cultural misunderstandings and expression differences between Japan and China. The proposed system will reproduce friction scenarios unique to both cultures through AI-driven dialogues. It will support the improvement of pragmatic competence, cultural adaptability, and intercultural understanding through emotion analysis, pragmatic style transformation, visualization of dialogue logs, and individually optimized learning support. The effectiveness of the proposed system will be verified through its evaluation.
