Chlorite associated with gold ore from the Oyama, Takahata, Osarizawa and Ani mines that are so-called epithermal ore deposits at Northern Japan, are studied mineralogically. In these ore deposits, 1) productive stage of gold ore is earlier than chloritic clay mineral stage, 2) chlorite associated with gold ore from the Oyama mine will agree repidolite, and chlorites from Takahata, Osarizawa, and Ani mine are ranged delessite-chloropite series chlorite.
