On datolites from Hoino, Nakagawa village, Shüsõ district, Ehime Prefecture and Shirataki Mine, Tosa district, Kõchi Prefecture

Abstract

Two datolites from the titled localities are found. They occur in small veinlets cutting green schist (Hoino) or quartz schist (Shira-taki Mine) both belonging to Sanbagawa zone. They are identified by comparing their X-ray powder data with that of the analyzed specimen from Hol Kol mine, Korea. Such occurrences are Enewn for the first time in Japan.
