Abstract
Heated fergusonite shows two kinds of X-ray diffraction patterns, of which one appears at 700°C and the other appears at over 900°C. The former gradually disappears and the latter appears with the elevation of heating temperature. In argon atmosphere these phenomena could not be observed. Fergusonite heated at 700°C has lattice constants ao 5.184 and co 5.489Å.
