K-A dating of the 117 granitic rocks from Hida, central Honshu, Kinki, San-in, Seto inland sea, northern-Kyushu, and the outer zone of the southwest Japan, are classified into the following six periods:
1) Pre-Early Triassic (210 m, y. +)
2) Early Jurassic (180-170 m, y.)
3) Upper Cretaceous (95-75 m, y)
4) Late Cretaceous-Early Tertiary (65-50 m, y, )
5) Eocene-Oligocene (40-30 m, y, )
6) Miocene-Pliocene (25-3 m, y, )
