Abstract
A 55-year-old man was visited to a medical clinic because of lower abdominal pain. CT revealed a low-density mass in the right pelvic cavity and multiple liver tumors in the liver. He was reffered to our hospital because of the further examination. Biopsy specimens of the liver tumor revealed adenosquamous carcinoma histopathologically. Enteroscopy revealed the type 3 tumor with the deep ulcerlation in the jejunum approximately 10cm proximal from the bauhin valve. The tumor was generally whitish and many white and round structures were obsereved. The biopsy specimens of the jejunum tumor revealed squamous cell carcinoma. He was underwent ileocecal rejection. Macroscopicaly, the whitish tumor had a deep ulcerlation and form an extraluminal mass. Histopathological examination showed the area of adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. The both transition area was observed. He was diagnosed as having primary adenosquamous carcinoma of the jejunum.
