Abstract
Despite advances in device technology over the past decade, endoscopic retrograde pancreatography (ERCP)-related procedures are still technically challenging. It is well-known that unplanned pancreatic injection and difficult or failed cannulation during ERCP are the risk factors of post-ERCP pancreatitis. Therefore, the cannulation technique is a crucial factor in the prevention of post-ERCP pancreatitis and is obviously important for successful cannulation. This review will introduce and discuss our cannulation technique during ERCP.
