A 79 year old male who had complained of epigastric pain and occasional vomiting was found fluoroscopically to have a henegg sized defect in the pylorus and a small niche on the lesser curvature at the angula incisura. An oval protrusion well demarcated from the surrounding mucosa was found by gastrocamera. Gastrectomy was carried out and the tumor was histologically identified as a cyst, submucosally situated and lined with one to several layers of cells probably of glandular cell origin.
