Abstract
We herein report three cases of duodenal lipoma resected endoscopically. The patientswere a 68-year-old female, a 70-year-old male, and a 76-year-old male. The lesions wereobserved as yellowish submucosal tumors located in the upper part of the descendingportion, the lower part of the descending portion, and the bulb respectively. Endosopicultrasonography demonstrated an echogenic mass in the third layer of the duodenum in twoof the three cases. In all cases, endoscopic resection was carried out successfully and thecourse was unevenful. Thus far, there have been 87 cases of duodenal lipoma reported inthe Japanese literature.
