We report a case of Tangier disease with a large gastric polyp, A 51-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital in June, 1998 with a complaint of general fatigue. The patiellt had anemia. Endoscopic findings showed a yellowish mucosa on the whole stomach with multiple xanthomas and a large polyp. The patient had a low serum cholesterol level and extremely low levels high density lipoprotein (HDL), apolipoprotein-1 (APO-A1) and apolipoprotein-2 (APO-A2).
