Abstract

Following the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake and subsequent Oku-Noto heavy rainfall, we reviewed support activities for a clinic that experienced the impact of both disasters from the perspectives of aid recipients, intermediate supporters, and aid providers. The assistance provided by the support activities helped maintain medical access and child support activities. Intermediate supporters handled information-sharing and deployment coordination between the clinic and support organizations. Aid providers secured time for recipients to focus on their recovery by assuming responsibility for clinical and administrative tasks. Sustaining such support requires personnel development and organizational preparation.
