Geochemical behaviour of lanthanoid elements in some clays and bauxite

Abstract

Semiquantitative eigenvector analysis demonstrates that differentiation of individual lanthanoids occurs in sedimentary environments. By means of eigenvector diagrams the degree of lanthanoid fractionation can be expressed semi-quantitatively.
