Tetrad effect of entropy and REE Geochemistry-(II)

Abstract

Tetrad effects are seen in enthalpy changes for ligand-exchange reactions between a pair of REE(III)compounds or complex series. Similar tetrad effects are also seen in the entropy change for the exchange reactions, as pointed out by Kawabe (2002) in the last meeting. Here is discussed the origin of the entropy tetrad effect in view of vibronic interaction.
