Molecular and seasonal distributions of n-alkanes of organic aerosols collected at Okinawa in 2004

Abstract

In order to study organic compositions of aerosols transported from East Asia, atmospheric aerosols were collected by using a High-volume air sampler, at cape Hedo, Okinawa, in 2004. For the samples collected, n-alkanes were analyzed by employing a GC-MS method. The molecular and seasonal distributions of n-alkanes were obtained. The sources of n-alkanes observed in Okinawa Island will be discussed in the presentation.
