Abstract
In order to study the compositions of organic aerosols transported from East Asia, atmospheric aerosols were collected by using a high-volume air sampler, a PM10 sampler, and a PM2.5 sampler at cape Hedo, Okinawa, in winter, 2005. The molecular concentration distributions of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were determined from the analyses of collected aerosols by employing a high-performance liquid chromatography-UV absorption method. The PAH distributions observed in Okinawa Island will be discussed from comparisons of the present results with previous results observed in East Asia.
