Abstract
When a frozen mixture simulating interstellar dust ice mantle was irradiated with high-energy heavy ions, complex amino acid precursors with large molecular weights were formed. Such complex organics gave enantiomeric excesses after irradiation with CPL. Such organics may have been delivered to the primitive Earth by interplanetary dust particles (IDPs). We are planning the Tanpopo mission, where IDPs are captured on the JEM Exposed Facility of ISS.
