Abstract
We would like to study about prebiotic polymerization of amino acids. In this study, we focused on two pathways; thermal polycondensation of monoammonium malate, and polymerization of alanine, norleucine, 2-aminobutyric acid and norvaline in molten urea. Microsphere was formed from former pathway as previous report. In addition, microsphere was formed from leucine but was not formed from alanine in latter pathway. Therefore, hydrophobic interaction was important for the formation of microsphere.
