Abstract
Although Ir concentrations vary in samples obtained from different Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary sections, these are highly correlated with Ag concentrations. This implies that the silver was incorporated into the boundary clays at the same time as the iridium. We found Ag-bearing grains in the boundary clays using microbeam X-ray fluorescence technique.
