Abstract
The air radiation dose was measured at Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, to the aim of investigate the movement of radioactive fallout in urban areas by the effect of different amounts of terrain and geographic features. At about 100 locations of the elementary schools, nurseries, parks, train station, in Funabashi, the air dose were measured using NaI (Tl) scintillation survey meter TCS-171 (Aloka). In southwestern area, the values of air radiation dose of 100cm of high were about 0.06 - 0.16μSv/h, it seems to be little change after the accident. In the northeastern area, these are observed the values of more than 0.2μSv/h, it seems the radioactive fallout in the northeast area is more quantity than in the southwest area.
