Abstract
in our study, Ca and REE compositions of seven kimuraite samples were measured with ICP-MS and EMPA. From the backscattered electron images, that another mineral was precipitated in the cleaveges of kimuraite was first documented, and this mineral was most likely to be lanthanite.meanwhile, we conducted another study applying the REE data reported by now to the theoretical equation of tetrad effect. when comparing the chondrite-normalized REE patterns to the theoretical tetrad patterns calculated by the equation, two types of kimuraite were recognized.
