Abstract

We report here U-Pb dating of conodont using a NanoSIMS. Several spot analysis were carried out on the single conodont. U/Pb ratios and Pb isotope data were processed by an isochron method. In addition we measured Sr isotopes of the sample using a NanoSIMS. There are not enough U-Pb age and Sr isotopes on the single conodont in literature. These data may provide a constraint on the evolution of ocean chemistry during a geological time.
