Abstract
Transmission electron microscopy is one of the essential methods to investigate planetary materials. In this talk, I would like to present TEMs and sample preparation methods that have been used in the planetary materials science and some examples of studies, in which TEM played an important role to accomplish. I would also discuss the specification of a next-generation TEM that is suitable for the planetary materials science in the 2020s.
