Abstract

On the geochemical model of the mantle, it has been basically inferred from the information on mantle-based magmas of MORBs,OIBs and so on based on isotope signatures such as Sr, Nd and Pb. On the other hand, noble gases have different chemical behaviors from solid elements such as Sr, Nd aend Pb and they give different information on the mantle. However, proposed models have not always taken such information sufficiently. Here, I would like to emphasize the significance of noble gas isotopes to consider the geochemical model of the mantle.
