Abstract

We analyzed REE concentrations in water and Mn oxide samples collected at Yuno-taki Falls. Chondrite-normalized REE abundance patterns for water samples showed tetrad effects, negative Ce anomaly, negative Eu anomaly and Y/Ho fractionation. Mn oxide samples indicated similar REE patterns with these characteristics. This means that REEs in water were accumulated onto Mn oxides.
