(1) Calculations of the mutational load of populations were presented by taking into consideration the existence of fractional-mutations with lethal or detrimental effects.
(2) The results obtained for three typical situations were compared with the conventional formulas for the mutational load, special emphasis was placed on the bearing of two types of mutations.
