Abstract

Information collected from geological newsmagazines in 2016 is reviewed. First topic is mineral resources such as mineral commodity summary of 2015 in USA and future of phosphate resource. Second topic is building stones such as Welsh Slate and Portland Stone. Gravestone geology is also discussed. Third topic is regional geology. This topic focuses Geology of Cuba. Fourth topic is current status of geoscience in global changing and a remarks on the classification for diorite and syenite.
