Information collected from geological newsmagazines in 2022 is reviewed. First topic is mineral resources such as mineral commodity summary in USA, geospatial analyses of lode gold potential in Alaska, and mineralogy of Eudialyte. Second topic is mineral matters, that is, attribution of minerals to science, technology, and society, and notation history from alchemy to modern mineralogy. Third topic is regional geology such as large igneous provinces across the Archean-Proterozoic transition and a giant meteorite impact in Scotland. In addition, Anthropogenic data question for a new geological epoch is reviewed.
