Abstract

This report deals with the effect of several compounding materials, such as liquid materials, surface active materials, high polymers and cross-linking agents, on environmental stress cracking property.
By this study, it is found that the metal soaps and the organic tin oxides, which are composed of two hydrocarbon chains having twelve to eighteen carbons and of one polar group, are very effective compounding material to prevent envronmental stres cracking.i
