VIII. ON THE THREE-COMPONENT BLENDS OF NITRILE RUBBER, ANOTHER RUBBER AND POLYVININYLCHLORIDE

Abstract

The properties of three-component blends of NBR, PVC and another rubber such as NR, IR, IIR, SBR, BR, or CR were studied.
In the relation between the properties and the blend ratio of blends, the properties had point of inflection at the ratio of total rubber/ PVC 50/50. It was found that the several rubbers such as NR, IR, SBR, BR, and CR could be substituted for some part of NBR which was used as plasticizer for PVC.
