For unfilled SBR vulcanizates, both the peroxide curing and the various accelerators-sulfur curing systems, good linear relationship was confirmed though in the region of large deformation /α>3 it was not applicable for the Mooney-Rivlin equation. In almost all cases some deviations from a straight line were observed at the positions of a small and an extremely large deformation and a straight line did not pass through the origin. As a result of these experiments varying the concentration of curatives, the front factor k of the equation is recognized as a parameter that is proportional to the network chain density and it is also associated with the C1 term of the Mooney-Rivlin equation. The relation between an additional term b of the presented equation and C2 term of the Mooney-Rivlin equation was checked for various kinds of curing system vulcanizates. But the correlation between them is not obvious at present stage.
