Abstract
With the purpose of controling tick outbreak, expeiments were conducted concerning tick mortality by various fertilizer application (ammonium sulphate, calcium superphosphate, potassium sulphate and calcium cyanide) and effect of mixed application of those fertilizers together with BHC γ-1.5% dust. The results obtained were as follows: Among fertilizers, calcium cyanide was recognized fairly effective whereas herbicide PCP had similar effect even by single application. Mixed application of fertilizer and BHC (fertilizer: 7.5 kg, BHC: 2.5 kg per 10 a.) gave quite excellent result in decreasing tick inhabitats.
