(S1 =uncultivated area, S2=damaged area, S3=non damaged area, S=entire cultivated area)
II. With the aid of these figuers, the plain can be divided into foilwing nine regions: (A) Drought regions-(1) Bisan-Seto island region, (2) Northern part of the Takamatu plain, (3) Ayakita region, and (4) Ryônan region. (B) Undamaged regions-(1) Southern part of the Takamatu plain, (2) Marugame plain, (3) Northwestern part of the Takamatu plain, (4) Southeastern part of the Takamatu plain, and (5) the Ookawa-gun region.
