Abstract
The author examined the data for many stations in Japan in the period 1902_??_1940 in order to find whether the amounts of precipitation of them trend parallel to each other or not, and he found that they trend parallel generally in the western Honshu and its neighbouring regions, but not in the northern Japan Sea coastal regions, northern Hokkaido and Ryukyu. The locality of precipitation predominates in these regions. This fact shows that Japan shoule be divided some regions dynamical-climatologically which differ from the climatic regions published before.
