Abstract

The old Cr-Diopside origin is known as a natural monument at Kamisano area southern of Yamanashi prefecture Japan. A new Cr-Diopside deposit is discovered recently. The new deposit area is distributed between Ashiyasu and Kajikazawa area in the west rim of Kofu basin foot of southern Japan Alps.
This study survey both occurrence, and analyzed both hostrock to compare it, and suggest to use Cr-Diopside for jewelry making.
