Abstract

Gem quality rhodonite occurs from Kaso and Kyurasawa Mine respectively. Ores mainly consist rhodonite, and contain minor rhodochrosite, spessartine, Mn oxide minerals. In addition, Kyurasawa samples contain pyrosmalite-(Mn).
