Abstract
This study was designed to examine how different concentrations of carbonate ions in CO3Ap-collagen sponges affect to bone regeneration. It was suggested that CO3Ap-collagen sponges absorbed earlier in bone sockets as concentration of carbonate ions in samples increased, and that an adequate concentration of carbonate ions could enhance bone formation ability.
