癩患者に於ける眼疾患の臨床的觀察並に病理組織學的所見に就いて附,其の對症的治療法

抄録

The present author tried a clinical study of 800 cases of leprosy and a histological study of 80 leprous eyes, ana found out that various diseases of the eyes appeared in 86%, and hlindness in 10% of all patients.
The microscopic sections showed generally serious affections at tho front of the eyes as previoas studies mentioned. But in severe cases even the back part was also affected, so that the retina, the optic nerve and the surrounding area of the optic nerve had remarkable changes.
As a method of treatment the writer recommend iridectomy. (Abstracted by the author)
