The author tried Hemagglutination test with tuberculin sensitized sheep cells on 133 leprosy serum specimens.
This test produced positive reaction with 78.9% of leprosy serum.
The positive rate was 88.3%in lepra tuberosa and was 66.0% in lepra nervosa.
Same tests were tried on serum of tuberculosis and others (syphilis, pregnancy, health) as controls,
The positive rate was 90% in tuberculosis, but most other samples showed negative.
