Employing 1687 leprosy patients, a study was made on the relation between dilution of lepromin and the change of reaction intensity, comparing 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions with the original Mitsuda or the Dharmendra antigen. It was clarified that reaction intensity lessened with the increase of antigen dilution regardless of the type of antigen and of the type of reaction (the early or the late reaction).
