Abstract

  No matter how innocuous it may be, human cognition is inevitably biased in one way or another. Even our viewpoints towards neuropsychological description are not free from bias. The present paper is biased by computational neuroscience. Computational neuroscience assumes that our brain sets up an illposed problem to grasp any given phenomena then attempts to solve the problem by computation. In this paper, we assume that somewhat complicated writing hand movements are a combination of simple reaching movements. Since it is reasonable to assume that reaching movement could have numerous possible trajectories to reach the target, writing movement could be assumed to be the object of an ill-posed problem. The present paper looks at the writing disorder agrahia as an impairment of via point representation and discusses it based on computational neuroscience.
