Although conflict over sex education could be political issue, it has hardly been paid attention to how general people evaluate sex education. Therefore, this paper analyzes (1) how people evaluate sex education they have taken ever and (2) what kind of sex education people expect young people to take, using the survey data of people living in Tokyo. As a result of the analysis, evaluation and expectation for sex education depend on rather their values than whether they are concerned with sex education. The implication of this paper is that it is difficult to solve the conflict over sex education easily, because the evaluation and expectation depend on values.
