Abstract
The present writer teaches an English class with a native speaker of English. Team teaching is common in elementary schools in Japan. It is, however, not common to have native and non-native teachers in an English class in universities or in junior colleges. It has been made clear that to have a native speaker of English as a teachers in an English class encourage students to listen and speak English more and to have more interest in western society and culture. Non-native speaker teacher has its role as a facilitator to help students properly communicate with a native speaker of English.
